Jim Leathers

Jim joined us after retiring from the Greenville County Sheriff's Office in 2023, with 26 years as a law enforcement officer and 18 years in K9 law enforcement.

Jim started working with dogs professionally as a Bloodhound handler in 2005, then as a patrol/drug detection in 2006. He got to work with those dogs from green to retired.

As a sergeant, Jim was the primary supervisor for the Mantrailing and Explosive Detection teams.
